I tried to go the first few days without, but it wasn't until I taped up with my KT Tape that I was able to actually walk pain free and with confidence (and I must say this was after falling twice because of uneven pavement and that folding ankle...) When properly taped my ankle was unable to fold under me and the swelling was greatly reduced. I give KT Tape 5 stars and won't ever go back to an ace bandage! ;0) Taping (my weak ankle) is the only way I recently survived a week on the pavement in NYC.
