(Electronystagmography) - The ENG can help determine the origination of symptoms by providing a detailed view of eye movements during different activities. Additionally, the use of calorics (thermal stimulation) can help localize and determine if the deficit is in one ear, or both. The ENG is often used in combination with the VAT, and is recommended for patients who cannot perform the VAT.
